CHILDREN'S PORTRAITS
From personal experience, the artist can confidently say that a child’s portrait is one of the most challenging types of portraiture. Any careless or overly dark brushstroke can inevitably make the child appear older in the portrait.

PORTRAIT OF DIANA.
A child’s portrait is subject to the same requirements as any other portrait: the primary goal is to convey the model’s personality. A child’s personality is no less multifaceted than that of an adult. It is often said that the main traits of a person’s character are formed by the age of five. How can one capture the unique personality of a young individual on canvas? The answer is no mystery – it simply requires achieving the highest level of likeness to the photograph provided to the artist.
